| If you find yourself riding the bus sometime soon, you might find someone unexpected sitting it the seat next to you. Seattle commuters have reported seeing a 2-year-old black labrador riding the bus alone in recent weeks, reports [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. The dog, named Eclipse, isn't a stray and also doesn't ride the bus aimlessly. She always has one destination in mind.
"We get separated. She gets on the bus without me, and I catch up with her at the dog park," Eclipse's owner Jeff Young told the news outlet. "It's not hard to get on. She gets on in front of her house and she gets off at the dog park, three or four stops later."
This isn't a new thing for Eclipse – she has been doing this route for the last two years.
"She's a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog," Young said. "Probably once a week I get a call. 'Hi, I have your dog Eclipse here on 3rd and Bell.' I have to tell them, 'No, She's fine.' She knows what she's doing."
Not surprisingly, Eclipse is the most popular passenger when she's on the bus.
"All the bus drivers know her. She sits here just like a person does," commuter Tiona Rainwater told the station. "She makes everybody happy. How could you not love this thing?"[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
