[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has a story up declaring that the actor will join Amy Adams in a new sci-fi film based on acclaimed author Ted Chiang's "The Story of Your Life," and as an afterthought, the piece mentions that Hawkeye will return in "Captain America: Civil War."

The speculation over Renner's Hawkeye future started when the actor [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in January. Since then, he's often mentioned his continuing with the role in interviews, whether it be a cameo in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." or something else.
