| It was alright. I think the chick that played Brittany Murphy tried too hard. She kept the jersey accent through the entire movie. Always sounded like she did when she was on clueless. But it wasn't bad. I watched the documentary afterwards too |

| I watched the re-play of it last night at 7. I actually liked it for the most part. I think they skipped over some things, but I guess that's what happens when you only have 2 hours. The girl who played it was all right. I think she got down some of Brittany's actual mannerisms, like the laugh and cocking her head a lot. |

| I haven't watchedit yet and I'm not sure I will. A couple days before the premiere, I read an article with her dad saying it's terrible that they're making the movie because most of it isn't actually based on her life. He says that they say he was absent most of her life when in reality he's got tons of pictures of them together and such. He also thinks there may have been foul play involved in her death, as not even a year later, her husband died in the same manner. So apparently there's an investigation into that going on right now. So to me, it sounds like it may just be one of those "Lifetime movies" and they usually suck, lol, so I'll probably pass |

She lived with Brittany and the husband. It was really odd, and it's not a very satisfying movie at the end because there are many answers left blank. For a Lifetime movie it was okay though. |

Oh, I hadn't thought of the mother being involved, but I remember her mom being really odd and having an odd relationship with Brittany. Sounds like Lifetime should have held off until they knew all the facts, for the viewers sake and their own. |

I want to know why the hell they didn't just call 911 once she started having trouble breathing. I get why Brittany wouldn't want to go due to all the lies the paparazzi printed, but it seems suspicious. I wonder if that was even true. I bet she'd still be alive to this day had she just went to the hospital. |

| I think the actor playing Brittany for the most part got most of her actions, ect down however there were moments where the actress did annoy me. For a Lifetime movie it wasnt bad. I did not like the ending cause it left unanswered questions. It also skipped some but with two hours I understand that. I also think some stuff was a lie such as the father issue when like Ashley said there are pictures ect of them together. I also find it suspicious that she passed and then the husband the same way months later but the mom was just fine. It makes me put her on the suspect list and I wonder why she wasnt investigated. I agree about not calling 911 when breathing issues first started, why wait till she is not breathing to call. If they would have called right away or went to the doctors/hospital, I think she would still be alive right now. |

| Watched it, Hated it, acting was fucking horrific & the editing was sooooooo bad.
If theyre going to try & make her a martyr post mortem they need a quality budget & actress. This was a pathetic attempt at capitalizing with no heart behind it in my opinion. |

| I didn't like it. I didn't think that the actress who played Brittany looked ANYTHING like her... yeah she got a couple of the mannerisms down but not all of them. Whoever played her was just a horrid actress in general. Out of all of the characters I think that whoever played Ashton nailed him, that was the only casting choice that felt as if it belonged in my opinion.
I had never read much up on her husband, what a douche though. He seemed to be very controlling and manipulative. No matter how hard the director attempted to portray him in a good manner he always went back to being a cunt! I think that the husband made Brittany dependant on him, he saw where she had the seed of fear and he manipulated that, any thoughts on that ladies or is that just me? haha
As for the actual death, her mom and husband KNEW how sick she was. I feel as if they should have been charged with manslaughter, they may not have murdered her but in my opinion they are at least partially responsible for her death considering they did nothing to help her. They had money, well Brittany did, she was known... I understand that she didn't want to go to a hospital because she didn't want the media to know and then spread lies, BUT, her husband could have had a doctor come to their home where it would have been private and confidential. She didn't have to die. And the ending, I don't remember any reports about them putting her in the shower after she died... If that really did happen then her family is dumb. They should have been doing CPR and calling paramedics. They wasted precious time!!
All in all, I don't believe that her death was an accident. Not at all. |
