Recently engaged Dallas, Texas couple, Mitch Strobl and Stephanie Wehner, wished to document their special event the way any normal couple would do – by having a photo shoot.
The two took a variety of pictures that reflected their loving relationship and much-anticipated marriage. They hoped to have the photos ready to share with their guests at the reception.
So, when Stephanie went to pick up the finished prints at a local area Walmart store, she was surprised to discover that the photo booth attendant had personally objected to the content of one picture in particular, and for that reason, removed it from development.

- They dropped the printable pictures off at their local Walmart store in Dallas, Texas, but when Stephanie returned to the store to pick up the reprints she was surprised to see the envelope had this message written on it: “Minus one 5X7 (photo) No Weapons.”
The engaged couple was out one special photo that was particularly important to them. But what she was definitely not prepared for was what the store associate was about to accuse the couple of doing.
Stephanie had come up with the idea to pose with Mitch’s first 12-gauge shotgun that he had bought himself. It was his beloved go-to gun for outdoor sport, but the retail giant refused to print it. Stephanie was shocked, only for the frustration to escalate when thestore employee told her the photo was against policy and promoted “gang culture,” according to WFAA.
That’s a bit of an odd position when you consider the fact that Walmart sells guns and ammo.
The photo booth attendant refused to budge or give the couple their picture back. She claimed that it was store policy to refuse to print any photos with weapons in them because it promotes “gang culture.”
The only problem was that the photo attendant was lying through her teeth. Walmart has no such policy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] From [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]: - Quote :
- “To automatically to be lumped into that category of a gang… that hits a little close to home for us, because that isn’t our intent at all,” Strobl said.
Especially when you consider what he does for a living: Creating manuals for hunter safety and outdoor recreation.
“I did that in this picture; I made sure the action was open… that is was a safe photograph,” he said.
A Walmart representative later told News 8 the chain has no policy against printing out pictures with firearms.
“We had a new associate who was misinformed. Her actions are not consistent with our policy,” the spokesperson said. Walmart also told us that it has reiterated policies with its employees at this store. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] This was an incident where the store employee was not only ignorant of company policy, but actually tried to pass off her own personal leftist views as representative of the store’s brand. That is, she objected to the gun photo and took it upon herself to make up the “gang culture” story.
While small business owners are being sued and shut down by the government for refusing to bake wedding cakes for gay couples for religious reasons, this Walmart employee simply relied on partisan political opinions to deny the young couple their engagement photo, company store-wide policy be damned.
And, more than likely, she won’t even lose her job over the mess up.
Refuse to provide service based on religious convictions, and suddenly you’re a criminal. But deny service because of partisan political purposes, contrary to established store policy, and you’ll only face a short informative session to kindly reiterate policy.
Yet just another example of liberal hypocrisy. |

| CLEARLY it's a safe picture. It's not like they wanted a picture with her holding the gun to his head or something. I don't like guns, at all. But I'm not about to sit there and push my opinions (on anything really) down anyones throat AND I sure as heck wouldn't tell anyone such a thing! When SHE owns her own photoprinting studio, then she can make up her own stupid policy's and I'm very surprised walmart won't fire her, as there are thousands of people who are far less pathetic than her trying hard to get a job. SMFH. |

| That is a lovely photo, he's obviously made sure it's safe for his future wife, and that is just outrageous of the shop assistant, here in the UK she would of been fired |

| I think the photo was really tasteful too. The Wal-Mart employee was lucky it wasn't someone like me who would have flipped her shit right then and there. |
