Instructions
Print Screen

1. Set up your screen or an individual window for the screen shot.

2. Take a screen shot of the full screen by pressing the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. Take a screen shot of the currently selected window by holding "Alt" as you press the "Print Screen" key.

3. Click the "Start" button and select "All Programs."

4. Open the "Accessories" folder and run Paint.

5. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the screen shot into Microsoft Paint.

6. Click the Diskette icon at the top-left corner of the window to save the image.


Snipping Tool

7. Open the Start menu and click "All Programs."

8. Open the "Accessories" folder and run the Snipping Tool.

9. Click the small drop-down arrow to the right of "New" to choose which type of screen shot you want to take.

10. Follow the instructions given by the Snipping Tool to capture a screen shot.

11. Click the Diskette icon at the top-left corner of the window to save the image.


Please note that you can also use Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, and other paint programs to copy and paste your screenshot into. If you use a program like PSP, you can also crop your image and add text/arrows/etc.
