PLEASE READ and ACKNOWLEDGE

The debate and discussion boards are for debating and discussing.  There are so many personalities here on the forum and we don't all agree on everything, but that is a good thing.  Who wants to have a discussion about something that we all agree on?

Nothing posted in these boards is meant to insult a specific person, their views or their beliefs.  If something is posted then it is meant as a discussion topic and a discussion topic only.  There is no reason for someone to not feel invited to a topic just because they think that they have a difference of opinion.  We are all capable of behaving reasonably.  No one should EVER belittle another member for a stance or an opinion on a subject.  We do not bully anyone here, and if there is anyone being mean then they will be removed from the discussion and the admins will handle the situation as warranted.  If you feel as if you are not able to have a discussion with someone then ignore their comment and move on.

Sometimes a certain topic is just too touchy for some people.  If you cannot handle a discussion topic and you feel insulted by it's material and it makes you incapable of having a reasonable discussion then please know your limits of being able to participate.  If it becomes too hard to  handle then back out.  The last thing we want is someone holding a grudge or disliking someone else due to a debate.

Anyone can post any topic that they would like (please try to put it in the proper board, if you need help then ask me)  if you are not comfortable posting a topic or discussion feel free to pm me and I will do it for you anonymously.

When replying to a topic please do not copy and paste answers, we consider that spamming.

Before you reply please read the entire thread and not just the original post.  There might be more information on the topic that was added at a later point, interesting opinions or you may have a question about the original post that has already answered.

When you are replying to a debate/discussion please do not just post "I hate __", "I agree" "this is dumb" "what is your point?" etc etc.  You can express all of these opinions, that is no problem but please tell us why you feel this way.  What I am saying is that to have a discussion you have to actually discuss something and short vague phrases don't count.

Please remember that when debating the goal is to offer a difference of opinion and give someone else another outlook.  It should be no one's mission here to change someone's opinion, odds are that would never happen but PLEASE keep an open mind on all subjects and opinions even if it is not one that you entertain yourself.

This thread is for the boards listed below.

News & Views
Religion & Philosophy
Abortion & Adoption
Unsolved Mysteries & Crimes
Supernatural & Paranormal
Parents Choice vs. Fanatical Parents
The Juice Box

Have fun discussing!!
