Check out TinyURL, it's a useful site that will make your long URL's shorter.

This is especially helpful when it comes to your signature. We are only allowed to use a certain amount of characters in our signatures. Simply upload your signatures to photobucket, copy the direct URL and paste it into the TinyURL site. It will then give you a shortened URL to use. This will allow you to add more images.

This is also a great site to use for Twitter, Blogs, and other social networking sites.
