| Please remember that when copying and pasting articles onto our forum, we ask that you use the 'QUOTE' button.
It's very simple to use and this lets us know that it was not written by you. You copy the article or text you want to use, and then paste it into your reply box on the forum. You may then highlight the text in your reply box and click on the 'quote' button OR you can use the BB code.
There is a *NEW* option now when you use the quote tool, you can ADD the URL as the author and it will show up at the top of the article you put in quotes. An example to look at is HERE. You'll see the URL to the original source is listed and you don't have to copy/paste it below the article like we used to do.
*The QUOTE button is the little white/blue message blurb in the reply box text editor.*
Once you do this a few times, it becomes easy to remember. It allows us to see the original link and also gives credit to the author of the text. |
